Originally from New Zealand, the Benges spent ten years serving with Youth With A Mission. They have three grown children.

Another good biography

My son is hooked on the Benge's books and now has nearly all of them. They're just right for his reading level. The big problem will be what to get him for his birthday when he has all in the series.

I love to read Christian biographies

I love to read Christian biographies, and to give these precious stories to my grand children. They love the true stories of dedicated Christian men and women who lived their lives for the love of Jesus. We have a hard time remembering books which set forth a lot of facts no matter how true those facts are, but we do remember biographies. I guess that fact is why God included so many biographies in the Bible. These Christian heroes books are easy for young readers to understand and great for book reports. My grand daughter read this one, and when she went to a sleep over, and all the girls were in their sleeping bags, she told them the missionary story about Dr. Paul Brand. This is a great way to reinforce the truths of the Bible. The book of Acts is still being written by the faithful servants who gave and are still giving their whole lives for the love of God and others. These are not apostles, but they surrendered their hearts, minds, souls, and families to do the work of the kingdom.These are the men and women who have changed the course of whole nations. These are the sowers of the seed which is now bearing fruit in such nations as China, Africa, and even the Middle East. . I love these stories and can't wait to meet all of the Godly servants on that great DAY. Next to the Bible, make Christian biographies your choice of good reading.

Easy to read book.

One of the few resources on Paul brand that kids can read and undertand. Very good book. Recommend reading for the youth.
