Nice reference...ridiculous price

Just got this today and plan on using it as I work in a busy pediatric emergency room. Book is a perfect, small size, convenient for keeping in lab coat. Comprehensive and nicely organized. Comes with scaling tool with ruler, metric ruler, french catheter scale.
Problem is...$57.00! Really??!! After seeing the size of this book, it should be about $20.00. Ridiculously overpriced as typical for all items designed for physician use.
My recommendations, wait until price drops if you want this book.

Useless

After I got the book I realized it was not worth more than $7, let alone over $50! It is probably the most expensive pocket-size book in the world! Most of the information in it you can now get from cheap, or even free, smart phone apps. The Harriet Lane is much more established and much more informative for its size. This book is not even complete. For example, CBC values by age are lacking... I would not recommend it. I am rarely impressed by AAP products anyways. I wouldn't have written this review if it was reasonably priced. But I felt cheated.
